DRYPRESS TECHNOLOGY
The Drypress Screw Press provides a unique, cost effective solution for dewatering of municipal and industrial sludge. The equipment is designed to dewater the Primary Sludge and/or Secondary Sludge dewater sludge from a dry content of 0.8-6% to 15-25%.

The sludge is fed to the machine via pump or inlet hopper into a cylindrical progressive three stage wedgewire or perforated drum.
STAGE 1
DRAINING
The flocculated sludge enters the the Drypress, the liquid fraction drains immediately
STAGE 2
THICKENING
A progressive and gentle compression of the sludge against the drum thickens the sludge.
STAGE 3
DEWATERING
Sludge is pressed against counter pressure cone, reaching high results in dryness.
DRUM SEAL
On the tip of the screw flight there is an elastometer to create a seal between drum and screw and to generate pressure.
DRUM WASHING
The Drum is washed by a Motorized washing ring moving up and down the drum.
PNEUMATIC
CONE
The cone pressure is pneumatically regulated to generate more or less pressure on the sludge
Our centrifuges were designed with ease of maintenance in mind. It is one of our greatest strengths.
Filtrate
The Drypress produces has a quality filtrate.
Maintenance Friendly
Drum is fully accessible pivoting hatch covers
Skids
The Drypess is available as a skid, complete with control panel, conveyor, sludge pump, and polymer system.
